Training: Week Recap November 2015

This week has been a good week. Training hasn't been as consistent as it should have been these past couple of weeks BUT when you get a good couple of sessions that realise some gains, then all is well!

First off is hitting a 215kg x 2 deadlift, the set that originally snapped up my hamstring earlier this year. Now that's in the bag, next week is a single at a weight I've already done so onwards and upwards.

Squats, I decided to rep out again and hit 165kg x 9 which was awesome to smash out. After speaking with big fat sweaty Dennis aka Freakied0550 I figured I need to start subjecting myself to heavy loads again to acclimatise to the stresses. So for squats, reverse bands seemed like a good way to go about it. 210kg was the heaviest I went. Felt crazy having it on my back!!

Lastly, I have finally hit 100kg x 20 on bench and with good speed. I always aimed to hit 20 reps with two plates and it feels good to get it in the bag. As with squats, I am going to start using the slanger again to get used to heavy loads and start making some PR's happen.
