Last time I did a Home Gym Tour was back in 2013 and it was more of a "colour update" since the first gym tour was in black and white. If you have been with the channel for a while you will have noticed that my gym has collected some extra items since then, so in this video I will show you what they are and how much it has all cost me to date.
Since the last video I now have:
Texas Power Bar
StrengthShop GHR
StrengthShop Chain Set
StrengthShop Band Set
4x Savage Strength "Bison" 20kg Bumper
Marcy Trap Bar
StrengthShop Football Bar
Homemade Blocks and Deadlift Platform
Punch Bag with rack attached hanger
Safety Squat Bar crafted from old barbell and pipe
All in all my gym has cost me around £3100 since I first started it in the back end of 2011. It has been worth every penny and I would definitely pay it all again if I had to.
With home gyms you have to think long term, don't just rush out and buy the cheapest stuff you can find as it will be poor quality and you will most likely out grow it in strength... so you will end up spending again to replace it. £3100 to me, divided by 4 years = £775 a year divided by 12 = £64 a month. That's just a little over what you would pay for a David Lloyds Gym membership. Except you own it.
Remember to always look on eBay, Gumtree or any other classified ads sites as you might find a bargain that someone is parting with. Some companies I have bought from for home gym equipment:
Sadly, I don't have any discount codes I can give you for these!
Thanks for watching!
