VLOG: Where have I been?

I've been gone for a fair length of time. Around 5 months if you look at when I last put up regular videos. In this VLOG, I go over why I dropped off the radar and what I have been up to.

So my training kinda went to shit after I pulled my hamstring (which still isn't right) but more so when I started training with my friend at a commercial gym just so we could spend a bit more time together.

When you get older you find that friendships require a lot of time and effort too to make them work. It's not like when you're a kid and you're always in each others pockets. Basically the only time me and my mate would see each other since I started the home gym was when we went out for food or beers; not a very regular occurrence.

We used to train together before he got ill with kidney disease but he's on the mend now so we picked a gym and started going. My strength has dwindled away since training there as I haven't followed any form of consistent programming (something I always stress as being key).

Anyways, this got me down. I decided I would split training between home gym and commy gym. Squats and deads I will do at home and bench and "body / cardio" days I will do at the gym with my mate as bench is easy to spot.

So, training videos will return. I won't film in the commy gym purely because we go at peak time and I don't think it's fair when people want to use the kit.

In my absence I also had a mid life crisis and treat myself to a Harley Davidson Sportster 883 Iron. It's a girls bike I know but I've thrown some parts on it and it sounds ace. So fuck you.

I also got married to my college sweetheart; we met at 16 and got back into each others lives 5 years ago. We had a great day and she is the best girl on this planet... and now she's mine. Haha.

We went on our honeymoon to New York City, Las Vegas and Cancun and we had an awesome time. I lost £500 in Vegas... that bit sucked.
