One Scoop
In the first of this three part review I am taking a look at one of the biggest hyped and most popular pre workout supplements on the market today - Driven Sports Craze or simply DS Craze...
It's time to get loco... time to go BANANAS!
Ok so in the first part of this review I am going to be trying Craze at a dosage of One Scoop. The next two parts will be at 1.5 and 2 scoops respectively. This is feel will give you a good idea what I think to the product at the different prescribed dosages.
First, a little about Driven Sports Craze; It contains the following standard ingredients:
Creatine Monohydrate
Betaine Anhydrous
L-Citrulline
Caffeine
Now the next two ingredients are what makes Craze stand out from the rest:
Dendrobium Extract (for Phenylethylamine or PEA)
Citramine (N-Methyltyramine)
The first of those two, Phenylethylamine is a known stimulant which is meant to help with improved mood. The second, N-Methyltyramine is said to increase levels of norepinephrine in the body, which is related to adrenaline.
So initially I found that one scoop of Craze was from a focus point of view not really any different to other pre workouts I have tried.
Muscular energy was not at it's highest either in comparison to other products.
I am hoping the next two dosage increments will have better effects!
1.5 Scoops
Ok so short and sweet; again I am not really feeling much out of the ordinary compared to other pre workouts I have tried even at 1.5 scoops. Whether or not that extra half a scoop in the next video (2 scoops) will make all the difference I don't know but so far, not really impressed.
2 Scoops
Third and final part of my extensive review of Driven Sports Craze at three separate dosages. In this video I look at the effects 2 scoops has on me and talk about the side effects I have had so far.
Ok so straight into it then. At 2 scoops I can honestly say I felt nothing out of the ordinary by way of increased focus or energy. I was expecting the extreme focus and limitless energy people have been telling me about... maybe I expected to much... maybe so.
All I really got from this product was a couple of bad nights sleep. After the 1.5 scoop session I had terrible sleep and for the record after this 2 scoop session I didn't have the same problems but I did have some seriously freaky ass nightmares... pretty terrifying ones at that!
Personally, I find this product counter productive. Even if it was to increase energy levels through the roof or make you more focused than a bird of prey going in for the kill... it wouldn't make up for the detrimental effect it has on my sleep.
Sleep is the most important thing outside of the gym for recovery and growth. If you're taking a product that causes you to have extra performance in the gym but then ruins your recovery... well... you dun goofed my friend.
So for me, I wouldn't buy Driven Sports Craze again. In fact I won't even be taking another scoop, this stuff is either going in the bin or to whoever wants it.
Do I think you should try it? Sure! There have been many reports of positive responses to this product but unfortunately I am not one of them but you should always try things out for yourself.
Thanks for watching!
