Time for another super tasty, quick and easy bodybuilding meal... it's my Big and Buff Beef Stew! It's packed full of flavour, high in protein and will feed four... or two... or one if you're realllly hungry!
Macro's for this meal are at the end of the video, be aware this is for the FULL POT. Obviously divide the macros by the number of portions for individual servings.
Ok, so onto the recipe and method...
Ingredients:
700g Diced Beef 1 Chopped Onion 1 Bottle of Guinness (Optional but you're missing out if you don't) 300g Casserole Veg (used this for cost, convenience, time) 100g Petit Pois 130g Canned Baby Carrots 1 Beef Stock Pot Salt and Pepper to Taste 1 Tsp Paprika 2 Tsp Parsley 1 Tsp Rosemary 1 Tsp Garlic (Use fresh for more flavour, dried for convenience) 1 Tbsp Tomato Puree
Method:
1. Chop Onion... lol 2. Brown Beef and Onion off in a pan. 3. Add herbs and seasoning. 4. Add Guiness and turn heat up. 5. Add Peas and Carrots, followed by casserole mix and the tomato puree. Mix all together. 6. Add pre mixed stock pot (100ml water and full stock pot). 7. Transfer to casserole dish and place into preheated oven at 160'c / 320'F for a minimum of 2 HOURS... but the longer the better. Stir occasionally. 8. Serve up with either mash, baked potato, roast vegetables or on it's own with some crusty bread... mmm!!
Enjoy!
